Your Knowledge Newsletter December 2022

Thanks to the Knowledge Shop members who requested the two primary articles for this month's newsletter - a very merry tax effective Christmas and the 'Secure Jobs, Better Pay' legislation. While industrial relations is not very Christmassy...ok, not Christmassy at all, the impact is a concern for many workplaces. BUT, industrial relations is not an area that accountants can assist with (your PI won't cover it), so please be careful not to try and 'help'. If your clients need assistance, direct them to the Fair Work Ombudsman, an employment lawyer, employment service, or their local chamber of commerce.
